Annual Accounts - FREE MEETING

Please ask us to quote a fixed fee to prepare your Annual Accounts. We will make sure that your Annual Accounts comply with the required accounting standards and are submitted on time. The filing deadline for Private Company Accounts is 9 months after the Company's Accounting Reference Date.  Although for the first set of Accounts the deadline is exactly 21 months from the date of Incorporation e.g. a private limited company incoporated on the 3 January 2012 with an accounting reference date of 31 January has until midnight on the 3 October 2013 not the 31 October 2013.

The most recent statistics from Companies house shows that 11.1% of Annual Accounts are rejected due to errors or omissions. If the accounts are submitted close to the filing deadline it may be too late to file the corrected accounts on time.

Late filing penalties were introduced in 1992 to encourage directors of limited companies to file their accounts on time because they must provide this statutory information for the public record.
